Heh....yeah I know, pretty crazy....
No doubt be a few broken bones from this, plenty of people would have been out shopping, no major injuries we've heard about though yet.

We've had two sharp ones today, the second was worse but not as long.....apparently the second was only a 5.3 so it must have been closer.
Taking the day off now, got my priorities sorted and went to the bottlestore
Fair to say nerves are shot, so some quiet beers *outside* are in order.

I'm thinking it may have been your fault! We are getting reports on the new quake and I had to go looking for this topic.
Hopefully it won't ruin Christmas and the other Holidays for too many folks.

Aaargh... eerie! Are you sure you do't have some illustrious sorceror in your ancestry you've inherited a flake of the Blackest Black Power from??
Glad to read all's fairly well though! Fwiw: hope you guys get through the rest of the year (and the years to come) w/o further shocking affairs..

No, it wasn't you Chris, it was the
BBC PM programme which had this interview yesterday:
PM Listener email wrote:You can also hear from someone whose name you probably don't recognise. Amy Cooney lives in New Zealand. When the earthquake hit Christchurch on the 22nd of February she was just starting her shift, with her brother, running a bar. She has quite a story, and as you'll hear, is quite a woman.
You can
listen here (until 29 December), and from memory the interview was at the end of the programme.
