You really should be asking this in the MailWasher 2011 forum as it isn't related to the FirstAlert system.
There are several topics there on this problem with possible solutions.
The first thing to do is make sure you are installing the latest version either 1.2.3 or at least 1.2.0, both available in the MW 2011 forum.
Second is putting your key in the new version and attempting to activate it. Once you do that you should either get a warning message or the key should be accepted. It may take 24 hours for the expire date to reset to show the correct information.
If it still doesn't work post a new topic in the MW 2011 forum and someone will have more suggestions.
