On install of program mail was filtered once since that time I get, "the connection to incoming server was reset, check your internet connection". To solve problem I have specified a preconfigured email client, turned off automatic checking of email (AVG 9), and confirmed pop and smpt settings. Would a reinstall of the program be appropriate? What did I overlook?
