Wash greyed out on 1 email to delete

1 spam email remains unwashed. It is marked for delete but wash is greyed out when I select it ! I get new good mail that superimposes itself over this bad message !!
That really sounds like a Mailwasher problem, not the FirstAlert system.
I'm not sure which version of MW you are using v5, v6 or 2010 but there are forums for each that you might want to ask in.
If you are using 2010 there is also a link there at the top that will get you the latest version. If that doesn't fix the wash issue post your question there. Alternately the overlayed message may be a known grid issue and can be removed by clearing the mail grid and checking mail again.
