Mailwasher Free processes the mail properly
However, when I try to retrieve mail from the server using Windows Live Mail 2011 I get no action
I suppose I am missing some simple setting but I just can not find it

This doesn't sound like a FirstAlert (spam detection system) problem so you are likely in the wrong forum.

If your MW 2011 is fetching the mail from your server and is launching your mail program after washing or when you push the mail button then it isn't a MW problem and the General Tech forum http://forum.firetrust.com/viewforum.php?f=31 is your best bet.
