Support has gone AWOL?

Sun Dec 18, 2011 11:52 pm

Hi there...

Has anyone had any luck getting support from Cliff or Nick? I have sent several emails and nothing gets a response. Is Firetrust still in business? Curious to know why my hails has gone unanswered.

I was wondering the same. No-one seems to bother visiting the forum anymore and there haven`t been any updates for awhile now.

They`ve changed the pricing structure of MWES a few times as well, which makes me think its not doing so good.

My license is due to expire on 2/1 and I am thinking that all those who have subscribed will be left high and dry on renewals and support. Time to look for another product.

Really sorry guys, hardly anyone posts in the MWES forum, and not for a long time so we've only checked it every so often recently.

We do answer every support email, so I'm surprised you've not heard back. If you can re-send your email to mwes-support@firetrust.com I'll make sure it's followed up.

We are still developing MWES, but to be honest it's not our most popular product. We do have an internet build with the following changes which some users have been using but we've not officially released it yet. We've also been needing to change the UI as we can't fit any more in to the current one so that's been underway, plus to make the filters like Mailwasher Pro, plus more reports.

Anyway, here's some changes in the versions following
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mwes ... 281.tar.gz
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mwes ... 281.tar.gz

Hey Nick,

Well, I`m glad to hear MWES is still in development. Its a shame its not doing so well. I`ve been using it for a couple of years now and its been brilliant. Its very very effective as a spam filter. I intend to keep using and supporting it as long as its around.

Thanks for the latest build links, I`ll update now.

David.

Thanks David,

Yes, we've got lots of happy users but I think we were a bit late to the market with it so don't really have the name recognition like we do with the consumer product. There's lots we'd like to do to it and we will but for now we're trying to add best bang for the buck features to it.

You`re doing a great job Nick. What I like about it is, its a very cost effective system for a small operation like myself. Some of the bigger spam filter services/software options are simply too expensive and I couldn`t justify paying their prices.

Best,
David.

Your product is top notch. I sent several emails and never got a response. I thought maybe there was a shut down or something.

Thanks for the encouragement, it's appreciated. It definitely needs some more features to become attractive for wider adoption.

If you can re-send your emails to me at nick.bolton@firetrust.com or any queries I'll make sure they're responded to.
Nick
