When I switch off the computer, some message is displayed (see attachment) concerning some MailWasher error. What can I do?

Looks like maybe the startup video window is playing in the background and MW is failing to close this upon shutdown?

Can you click View>>Tutorial Video, is "Show on startup" selected? if so, unselect it and click X to close that screen.

If no better, or that IS already unselected, please try this:

Go Help >> User Files >> close MailWasher so it's not running >> back in the folder you opened right click on startup.xml and select Edit With Notepad (or something similar to edit the file) >> near the bottom of the file will be a line
<PlayAnimationOnStartup>True</PlayAnimationOnStartup>

Change the True to False >> Save the file >> restart MailWasher
