Hi There,

This is rather urgent, we just moved from a SBS2003 DC to a SBS2008 DC. I have installed the latest mailwasher, and followed the installation procedure. At the moment it seems that emails originating from gmail error (see attachment) and are not coming through. We have a lot of customers using gmail, and we can't effort to loose those emails. The tracking just shows "Error" nothing else is there a way we can rescue these emails, and/or check a log ?

Thanks in advance,

Ton.

Hi there,

If you mouse-over the error message, it will display the reason for the error. Let us know what that error is :)

Hi there,

The error message shows that another spam filter is blocking the message from getting through - in the this case, Exchange Content filtering.

It is recomended to disable ALL other filtering, with exception to Recipient filtering, as it prevents mail destined for unknown/non exitant users from filling up the post master box.

Thanks Cliff,

I didn't realise that MS exchange Anti-spam features was interacting with the Mailwasher.
After disabling all of the Anti-spam entries (except Recipient filtering) within the Hub Transport, the emails were getting through.

Cheers.
