Exchange 2007

Wed Jul 08, 2009 9:22 am

I have had mailwasher version 2.7 installed on my SBS 2008 box and at first I thought hthat it was working. However i seem to be only able to recieve emails from xtra.co.nz and not from other exchange servers. Have I to setup anything else. I have switched off my gray listing for now

Hi,

I fixed the problem after logging on to your box. Server is receiving all emails as you confirmed it.

Tip for Exchange Users: :thumbsup

Majority of the users running exchange boxes with fixed IP's on DSL links. MWES running as a proxy talk to exchange and forward processed mail tagged as coming from localhost. Usually it is not an issue but in some cases it is.
"rsearle" was having same problem.
Remedy is:
1. Run regedit
2. Goto HKLM "Software\xxxxx\Firetrust Limited\mwes"
3. Change the value of mta_relay_hostname=localhost to mta_relay_hostname=192.168.1.1
or Private LAN IP of the box
4. Close registry
5. Restart mwes service (Please note you don't have to restart Exchange Server)

Cheers
