I have everything up and running but I have noticed that my outgoing mail is very slow.

I have a program that sends bulk emails to my customers. After installing MWES this program no longer functions as it did previously. Rather than quickly sending each message, they take 10 to 15 seconds per message.

I'm assuming the messages are somehow getting delayed in MWES on the way to Exchange.

Any ideas?

If you're sending emails out that you know are safe, then why don't you send them directly through your MTA's port rather than MWES?

That's true. I could do that.

However, I also have a server side component that is doing a similar thing and seems to have no way to change the port.

So, while I can work around the original problem I posted I'm still wondering if there is something wrong with my configuration to cause such a significant delay.
