Pre-purchase Questions

Hi there,

Wasn't sure where to put this, so Miscellaneous sounds good - kinda prepurchase stuff really.
We’re currently testing the MailWasher Enterprise Server product and so far, it’s bloody awesome!

Couple questions though:
- What happens after the 30 day trial if we haven’t purchased?
- If we purchase a subscription for a year, what happens if we don’t renew?
- If we have 10 users and suddenly put another 20 on the network, what happens?

Cheers,
Ty

Hi there,

I just sent an email, but it looks like it got bounced back (Could not deliver in the time limit specified). I have just retried, so hopefully it gets somewhere.

We are super keen on the product though - does what it's supposed todo really, really well.

Any answers would be hugely appreciated!

(and good to see another Kiwi!)

In reply to your questions.

- If you haven’t purchased after 30 days then it will stop filtering spam but won’t stop your regular email.
- If you don’t renew, the same will happen as above.
- At the moment licensing is not enforced, so nothing will be affected if you add more users. We’ll add in some licensing in the future.

Regards
Nick

Adding onto this particular topic.

I've been using the old OSS version for several years now, and I it does pretty good. Except it's getting passed by with the new tech. I haven't upgraded to the new version because it did not support per user quarantine. My subscription is expiring soon and while I don't want to move away from your product, I need newer / better features and per user quarantine.

Does the new product have this now, or will it be in the product soon?

Thanks for that information. I don't know why I didn't find that when looking.

Second question. Looking down in the installation instructions, it states that I need to manually uninstall my previous version. With a link to uninstall directions. Unfortunately that link goes nowhere. Any tips on that?

Oh ok. We've since upgraded the website and that link is now at http://old.firetrust.com/support/mailwa ... ssages.htm as we're not continuing with that version of MailWasher Server.

Click through to Uninstalling Guide.

I don't have a working email address now, so don't have a way to receive Registration Key.
What do I do?
Thanks!

Nick, I have to renew my subscription. I have been using Thunderbird email program & something screwed up & can not send or receive. I'm fixing to uninstall TB and reinstall it in order to attempt to fix it..

PS: I have been doing business with you since 2003.

Thanks
