Updates

Hi All,
Just received the mail about GMail which stated that the latest version of MailWasher 7.12.5 should be installed. I have Pro Lifetime 7.11.0 installed. It is set to check for updates every day.
I have just tried to update the programme but am getting an error message, attached. Any help would be appreciated.

That's a new one. Go into Settings >> General >> Updates >> click Go To Folder >> delete updates.aiu and if present, updates.aiu.part >> try again.

Hi,
Thank you that works ok. Unfortunately the programme is not working at all now. it has the exact same details as it had prior to my uninstalling and reinstalling it but it says it is checking my mail, only the default, not the others as it used to. iIt is not logging into my mail account at all. I have tried sending it test mails myself but to no avail. If I check my mail through Thunderbird I can get my mails ok.

Hi Martin

Do you have a software firewall that might be blocking MailWashers access ?
You could try uninstalling, opt to keep your data files when prompted, then install again manually from http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mail ... _12_06.exe

Hi,
I will try that but my firewall, Bitdefender has never conflicted with Mailwasher in the past. Given the difficulties with 7.12 I uninstalled again and reinstalled 7.11 which had been working fine. Unfortunately it is now having difficulties too and I have uninstalled it. Just wondering in the list of accounts 2 are saying the source is Thunderbird while the other 2 say various versions of MS Outlook are.

If you're importing the accounts and it's showing duplicates, import the ones listed from ThunderBird.

You can double check the settings after in Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> to be sure the password etc... is correct.
