I have a general question regarding the Recycle Bin. I am using an older product 6.5.3 but I assume the recycle feature works in the same manner in all versions.
My question is how and where does the recycle bin store the emails? Is it using a variation of the "leave a copy of the email on the server".
How does it work?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: General Recycle Bin Question
Hi Mark
MailWasher stores the emails in a file called trash.rot135
It has basic encoding so is not directly readable and won't trigger AntiVirus programs.
When you restore a message, MailWasher grabs the message from the file and resends it as a new message. It tries to keep the original headers intact to keep the message as close to the original as possible.
Cheers
