Can't install or run Mailwasher Pro

I have a laptop running Win 7 Pro and the program worked but I haven't had the laptop on in months. When I went to run it today I got the message "MailWasher has stopped working" I first tried the repair, that didn't solve it. I then uninstalled the program and reinstalled the latest version, that didn't work. I don't have any virus or malware programs running. I cleaned the registry of all traces of mailwasher and deleted the directory and still it won't work. I am out of ideas.

Be sure the Windows Updates are current first

Then try going into C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher and delete the file startup.xml
See if MailWasher starts then.

If not, try a .NET Repair

Thanks rusticdog, but I tried everything. I had to eventually reinstall windows. Something was conflicting with Mailwasher and I have no idea what

Bugger, glad it's sorted now, hopefully not too much of a hassle.

It was weird, tried for half a day to install, finally figured it was quicker to wipe the drive and start fresh. Only stuff from 3 years ago on it, so needed a good cleaning anyway LOL

On another note I bought two lifetime license keys. I believe they are both good for two machines? If so I have one license installed on a PC and a laptop. The other license is only installed on my PC, and I am trying to activate this license on my new laptop but I am getting the message that it has been used too many times. What can I do about this?

I've reset the license that would be giving you that error.

One license is good for three machines, was this other lifetime license a recent purchase ?
