Hi there
I'm in the process of transferring data and programs from an old Windows 7 machine to a new Windows 10 machine. I have been a Mailwasher user for many years. I have installed Mailwasher Free version 7.12.29 on the new machine and successfully imported all the settings from the old machine. My e-mail client is Thunderbird version 68.9.0. Everything is working well until I try to reply to an e-mail from within Mailwasher as instead of opening Thunderbird it opens a splash screen inviting me to create an account, which I have no reason to want to do. Thunderbird is not listed amongst the various option. Please see the attached screenshot.
Can anyone please help me to resolve this?
Regards and TIA
Phil

Re: PROBLEM WITH NEW PC AND MAILWASHER
Hi Phil
In Windows 10 you'll need to tell it to use ThunderBird for the MAILTO: protocol. I expect ThunderBird is properly set as the default email program, but it doesn't always alter this protocol.
Details on how to do that can be found here https://www.groovypost.com/howto/change ... 10-mailto/

Many thanks for the prompt reply. I thought I'd already done that but doing it again has solved the problem. :-)
