The last time I installed MW Pro I had MS Office 2010 installed, so it used that copy of Outlook. Several years ago I installed Office 365, and everything appeared fine. As far as I can recall, I did not have to make any changes to the MW Pro settings - it then opened and used the Office 365 version of Outlook. Note that I did not uninstall Office 2010 at that time. Since then I have moved to a new laptop and upgraded to Widows 10 Pro. So far, so good.
During the most recent MS updates application last week, I noticed that Office 2010 updates were being applied, so after the restart I removed Office 2010 and restarted again. After that restart, MW Pro came up and showed the generic email icon rather than the Outlook 365 icon, and nothing happened when I clicked that, and when I clicked Wash Mail it did the washing but did not launch Outlook.
I went to Settings -> Email and updated the "Washing Mail" program location to point to the same location as my pinned task bar icon for Outlook 365, which was "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE", and clicked Save. Then I closed and restarted MW Pro, and everything looked fine - it now opened Outlook 365.
But the next time I washed mail, instead of making Office 365 the active window, it launched a second copy, smaller in size, and on the laptop screen rather then the external display where Outlook 365 was already open.
For now, I've disabled the "Launch after wash mail" and go to the Outlook 365 window manually.
Has anyone else hit this problem? Is there a solution short of reinstalling MW Pro?

Re: MW Pro 7 opening multiple instances of Outlook 365
Before I posted this, I'd searched for "multiple outlook", but that didn't return B_big's post, below. I've added " /recycle" to the launch path and it is now working correctly.
Thanks!
