In the latest version, I now have a + sign, with either Spam or Good next to it, see attachment

I prefer to have it the way it was, without the + sign keeping the categories separate.

Is there a way to get rid of them, can't see anything in Settings?

If you right click on the Classify column heading, uncheck Group By Classify. That will remove this grouping.
