Failed to login to server "pop.mail.yahoo.com" sometimes

What happens with pop and not IMAP. is it will connect get email fine once or twice then I would get the Failed to login to server "pop.mail.yahoo.com" error for 5 minutes or so.
It does not happen to IMAP. and Please don't say so use Imap. I tried and dislike it.
I have emailed Tech support here and they suggested IMAP. they checked my error logs and saw it connecting then not connecting then connecting.
I use Windows 10, Malwarebytes, and windows firewall. I turned off both Malwarebytes and windows firewall and it still happens.
I'm using the App Passwords and verified that using SSL and OAUTH and when saved connection successful each time.
I'm using the latest versions of all software mentioned.
I checked Thunderbird and it has no problem connecting at any time.

I do think with all my testing these few days that there is a problem with Mailwasher.
Anyone else have this problem?

It might be Yahoo rejecting too many connections in a space of time, under Settings >> General >> Checking Mail >> try increasing the time between automated checks and see if that improves things.

I thought of that this morning. I increased it to every 15 minutes had it at 10

That was the fix 5 more minutes added.
