I'm a lifetime user of Mailwasher and have previously been using it for years. However after buying a new computer 12 months ago Mailwasher stopped work for some reason so I just stopped using it. With the demise of Incredimail I downloaded the suggested substitute program eM Client and decided to try Mailwasher again.
Now Mailwasher doesn't open on Windows startup (even though I have that checked in Settings) and when I force a wash my mail client, eM Client doesn't open like it used to do with Incredimail. Is there something else I need to do. I am using Windows 10.

Re: Mailwasher not working with eM Client
In MailWasher under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> check eM Client is the selected email program >> also check 'Launch after Wash Mail' is checked.
For the Startup, try first going Settings >> General >> change the Startup option to None >> Save >> change back to start with Windows >> Save.

Re: Mailwasher not working with eM Client
I have done all these things (again) and restarted my computer and Mailwasher is still not opening on Startup - I have to physically open the program. Unchecking the Mail Program. saving and then selecting eM Client now appears to be working. Any suggestions as to how I get Mailwasher to open on Startup - it always has done in the past. it's only in the last 12 months that I have had this new machine that it hasn't been working.

Re: Mailwasher not working with eM Client
Try going CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open Task Manager >> check under the Startup tab for a MailWasher listing and be sure it's not disabled.
You could also right click on the MailWasher desktop shortcut >> select Copy >> then manually go into C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\ and then paste the shortcut into there.
Failing that, do you have any security software that might be trying to manage startup programs ?

Re: Mailwasher not working with eM Client
Thank you, it was disabled. It now appears to be working correctly again. However the first couple of times I went into Task Manager in Startup it didn't appear to retain the Enable change. I reset and restarted 3 times but it now seems to be OK.
