MWP hangs for a good while "evaluating" the last message
Been a weird day on my computer system. My wireless router worked just fine at 9:50 am and was effectively dead when I returned at 11:15, forcing me to bypass it to regain cable internet connection. Since then, every time MWP automatically checks mail and sometimes when I do it manually, it hangs for a while on the last email (or latest one), "evaluating" it, before letting go. At the same time, I can download the evaluating email directly into my email program. Seems nothing special about these emails. What might be going on?

The display of the current task is actually a step behind, so it's most likely finished evaluating and has moved to the next task. It doesn't update until it has some success.
A long delay would usually mean it's trying to logon to an account but hitting a timeout, these vary but typically 10-30 seconds, as the display hasn't updated, you see this as a long evaluation.
I would check first if there is an account that is failing to logon.

No errors. But going through the default checks, it's Yahoo that's causing it. Which goes back to my post last week and not yet figuring out what's caused Yahoo to stop loading in MWP.

IMAP doesn't work at all with the Yahoo ?
I still have yet to hear back from programmers about the POP access issue that you and I can repeat.
In the interim if you removed the Yahoo from the default mail check, the delays will stop.

Both POP3 & IMAP fail server test and MWP test.

OK, earlier you indicated that the Yahoo account worked on the server test when accessing via POP viewtopic.php?f=50&t=32889&p=134235#p134229
This was showing in the logs you sent too, where MailWasher can access the account all OK, but was failing when trying to retrieve the messages once logged in, which is the issue I can repeat that programmers need to look at.
IMAP however should have been working.
Are you using the master password in MailWasher, or the app password you created ?

These are my IMAP Yahoo settings, which is working for me at least, using the app password I created.
If you don't use an App password, you must have USE OAUTH checked.

I had to delete the OAUTH check. Got it working with IMAP. Thanks.
