After "erase" by MWP, mail check shows all still there
This has been going on for a very long time, and I'm only doing this to pass what information I have gleaned. First, the issue with the emails not being erased is absolutely connected to the number of emails that are marked in MWP. If more than around 45, the problem is likely - it doesn't happen every time under any circumstance. I suspect the problem is with the Yahoo servers, but I can't think of a way to prove it. More annoying: if the problem happens once, I can go through, mark the emails and Wash again, and have the same thing happen - not always! The answer seems to be, just mark some (unknown) number less than 45, then Wash, then mark the rest and Wash again. That - so far - works every time.

What an odd thing.
Possibly try going into Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> Advanced >> uncheck the option to use PIPELINING when deleting mail. With this option MailWasher sends delete commands in batches, with it off it deletes one at a time .

Pipelining is off. Has been for some time. I'm just letting you know what I've found and what I've done about it. Like I said, I think it's the AT&T/Yahoo (pacbell.net) server that's the problem, but I'm in no position to test it. If there's anyone else out there who has a problem with emails not being deleted while talking to an AT&T/Yahoo server, I'd really like to hear about it. Especially if they've found some way to make the erasure work consistently.

I've been having this problem for the last 2 days. I can't get rid of emails especially from one msn/outlook.com account. I thought I had success turning off Pipelining but it seems to just take a little longer for them all to come back?
I went into the browser interface of outlook.com and deleted every email in there, and still getting them all back??
Bummer, it's one account I've used since the beginnings of email...

I got it. Outlook.com has some 'focused' and 'other' inbox and feature and it was turned on, so it would randomly pick emails to go into on or the other. So, on the main settings screen turn of 'Focused inbox'. Non sense! MW has been working well for years... though I prefer the earlier interface MW6 and that you could arrow down the MW inbox and it would show each email in the preview pane. (Might just need a <Refresh()> in code after a down or up arrow. But MW6 stopped receiving email from Outlook.com about a year ago.

Sounds similar to the problem that I have with one account, where if there are more that 200 emails in the inbox, then except for the first check of the day, MailWasher has problems downloading the last email in the inbox.
When there are fewer than 200 emails in the inbox, MailWasher downloads everything all the time.
It might apply to other accounts as well, but I generally only have more than 200 emails on the one account.
Is there some resource issue in MailWasher that might cause this?
