Re: emails marked for delete don't delete
Sorry Phil, this got lost in my inbox.
For the account can you go into Settings >> Accounts >> select the IMAP tab >> hit Refresh to refresh the folder list >> recheck the folders you want MailWasher to check >> Save.
It looks like the issue might be from MailWasher trying to select/check a folder that no longer exists. Although why this is impacting delete, I'm not sure.

Re: emails marked for delete don't delete
Hi,
Did as mentioned had no effect. Closed mailwasher down and loaded it backup and tired again and still no luck.
I've also look at the email on the server and the three email are not in the ao.com imap folder.
Is there a manual way I can delete maybe via sql etc.

The database is stored in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher\cache\MWP.db3
If you open the database in that program >> close MailWasher down >> select the Execute SQL tab >> enter into the field and there is a small Play icon to run the command, that will tell you if it was successful and how many rows are effected >> then once happy hit the WRITE CHANGES button.
Optionally >> if you remove the account from MailWasher >> restart the program >> add the account back, that ought to do the same, as removing an account and restarting triggers a cleanup routine that should wipe the database of any caching.

Yeah, so you can use a program like https://sqlitebrowser.org/philsbbs wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 11:24 pmHi,

Code: Select all
DELETE FROM CACHE where delete_reason = -1;

Re: emails marked for delete don't delete
Morning,
Just had 3 more emails that will not delete on the phil account this time, logs files sent via phil account.
I hold back on manual database deletion until I hear back.
Stay Safe.

Re: emails marked for delete don't delete
You don't have any email antivirus on the machine do you ?
I can't see the cause, as the issue must have started the day earlier, but I can see MailWasher receiving data in a way that's unexpected, which has thrown everything out.
I believe a restart of MailWasher should fix this, but it didn't last time, which could then require the SQL clearup of the cached email.
