version 7.12.125 can't access to TLS anymore

I can sniff the network with wireshark and have no evidence of firewall.

I found this message server side, so the connection is not firewalled/dropped:

SSL_accept() failed: error:1417A0C1:SSL routines:tls_post_process_client_hello:no shared cipher

In my previous message you can find the cyphers used by Outlook and MW, just for compare

Let's leave the Wireshark & its results to one side, please . . . for the moment — instead, you need to answer the query on my previous post. ;)

If you are using the free version of Avast Antivirus — does it not contain the following modules & components:—
Wi-Fi network security
  • Network Inspector
  • Firewall
Safe browsing and emailing
  • Botnet Shield
  • Web Shield
  • Mail Shield

MW connects without problem to other servers using 995 so I can exclude firewall/antivirus.

Btw network inspector and firewall are not installed.

Avast free disabled - workstation restarted - same results.

I can see connections server side and SERVER reply no shared cypher. Server runs on Ubuntu 20.04.6 with dovecot latest version.

This effectively rules out an issue at source (workstation) side with the onus of troubleshooting shifting to the destination (server) side — you might want to check if downgrading to the previous version helps.

SOLVED!
I forcefully regenerated my certificate server side and now both Outlook and MW works fine.
I have no words.
