dates into Thunderbird
I havnt been here for a while so Hello all. Got something of a problem with MW Pro connecting to Thunderbird. I have run both together for some time now but this morning I saw something different, MW passes the mail to Thunderbird at my behest but thunderbird only gets the time of the mail and not the date. Probably something I have turned off or on but I would like the date on my mail if possible. Hope this makes sense to someone out there. Many thanks in anticipation.

Re: dates into Thunderbird
Yes that is pretty odd, as MW has no effect on either TBirds download of email, or display etc....
Most importantly, although it appears MW sends mail to your email program, it does not....Mailwasher never ever sends, transfers or moves any email on to your email program.
- Mail arrives on the mail server.
- Mailwasher checks for new mail on the mail server and displays it. The email will remain on the mail server.
- Mailwasher deletes the unwanted mail from the mail server.
- Good remaining mail stays on the mail server.
- Your email program starts and downloads the remaining email from the mail server all by itself.
You see Mailwasher is not involved in the process getting the email from the mail server to your email program.
Is TBird possibly only downloading part of the email? or has some rule or filter set for display that is causing an issue?
Another possibility is your AV program is interfering here, you could disable it (or the email scanner part of it) and see if that helps?
