This morning MW can't access any of my Microsoft Outlook & Hotmail accounts. I keep getting a pop-up asking me to log into my Microsoft account. What the heck is going on? I've been MW since it was shareware and never had Microsoft asking me to log into my accounts before. I remember getting an email from MW about Gmail requiring a special one-time code I had to setup but not Microsoft.
All of my Outlook & Hotmail accounts are IMAP and I keep getting fetching messages in MW.
What am I doing wrong and what do I have to do to stop getting these popups from Microsoft every couple minutes?
Did MW change something that I am unaware of? Do I have log into all of my Microsoft Outlook & Hotmail accounts every day so that MW can access them?
HELP! I have no clue what is going on and can't find anything about this anywhere on your website.
Thank you.

Re: HELP!! MW Can't Access Outlook & Hotmail Account Error
The pop-up is from Microsoft asking you to enter your Username and then your Password — finally, to gain & maintain access without any further pop-ups, you would be prompted (as illustrated below) whether you want to accept letting the app (MailWasher) access your info:—
MailWasher Pro (βeta) | Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC (22H2) | The Bat! Professional (βeta) | Windows 10 Firewall Control (βeta) | ESET Endpoint Antivirus (βeta) | nVIDIA GeForce (GTX 1060) | WebView2 Runtime (118.0.2088.61) | .NET Framework (4.8.1)

SOLVED!
Thanks - I was wondering if MS finally starting doing that for MW. Nice to see they have changed something in their most recent Windows update to do this - although it's a pain to login to a dozen accounts. Hopefully this is a one-time thing similar to what Gmail started a few months ago.

Re: HELP!! MW Can't Access Outlook & Hotmail Account Error
I am getting this error as well. I am setting it up for a friend and been at it all day without success.
When I click accept on the pop-up above, it just seems to abort and sends me back to mailwasher and nothing happens. I was following the current mailwasher guide, and none of this is mentioned about it.
Anyone have a current walkthrough on setting it up for hotmail?
FYI, I am installing for the first time on this PC. Windows 11 Pro V2 installer. All Ryzen, B550 and 5600G and 32GB RAM.
OK, I just went to my PC and reset the mail accounts and it prompted me at the screen to do the MS approval for the umpteenth time, and them MW started working immediately. Go figure. Just leave it alone for an hour and it fixes itself. LOL

Yes, you may need to delete and re-setup the account, note that we are working on a few issues we are seeing with Hotmail and Yahoo accounts at the moment, if doing the aforementioned does not help, you are welcome to PM me or email support at firetrust dot com and we can send you a link to the beta version so you can try it out...
