Multiple instances of "Microsoft Edge WebView2" constantly running while MailWasher is in the background

I cannot conclusively say those 32 instances of WebView2 running bogged down my system. And for sure, my system is not cutting edge. But it is a 3.3GHz i5, with 32 GB of RAM installed, and a Samsung 850 Pro SSD (with lots of free space) as the boot drive. So no performance screamer by today's state-of-the-art standards, but no slouch either.

All I can say is exiting MWP (V7.12.180) and only terminating MWP immediately returned the performance of this PC back to its previous snappy state. So hard to place the blame elsewhere when exiting MWP is all I did.

I will try to be patient and wait for W8. But frankly, from what little I know about V8, I have little faith this exact same issue will not migrate to V8. I sure hope I am 100% wrong.

Either way, I will discuss this no further.
