This isn't a major headache or a problem in the normal sense..
Using Mailwasher Pro 7.12.173.
I just changed from my trusty old Windows 7 to a yuk Windows 10.
On my desktop the Mailwasher icon is shown as a bar of yellow soap.
When I minimize the Mailwasher window, it drops down to the task bar along the bottom of my screen, (still shown as a bar of soap).
When I close [X] Mailwasher is goes down to the (I never know what its called) area at bottom right of my screen.
I somehow managed to get that Mailwasher icon at bottom right changed to the grey washing machine icon, which I prefer.
But I cannot do the same with the yellow soap bar icon on my desktop. I have tried right-click > Properties > Change icon, but it only shows me the yellow soap bar - there is no choice. So where is the "larger" washing machine icon hidden ?

Re: Desktop Icon
Sorry but no way to change that desktop icon from within MW, you could extract the icon from MWPro 6 manually though and use it instead though I'm sure.... not exactly sure offhand how to do this, google would know though...

Re: Desktop Icon
Ah OK, thankyou. I couldn't find where the soap bar icon is (I didn't search the registry though), but instead of using one of the icons available at
C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll
I looked through the others at
C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll
and found some good alternatives. So I used the one closest to what I call the "washing machine" icon (which I now read is a plug hole), - just a round CD with no markings. There are some other good alternatives under that dll though, in case anyone wants to change the soap bar to something else.
