MWP 7.12.173 stopped working

Hi all,

My MWP 7.12.173 running on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 build 19045.3693 has stopped working. On startup, the following entry appears in the event log:

Description: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

Then, attempts to check my email accounts fail with the following entry appearing in the event log for each one:

Description: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

I know I'll most likely end up uninstalling and re-installing MWP, but I'd like to know what's happened. Thanks in advance.

However, please also check the two posts following that one as there are some problems with Hotmail, SBC and Verizon accounts.
