Also, and this may be related, when mail comes in to my email client (via MWP), it appears to be blank.
I was also told that one of my outgoing messages appeared to corrupt and unreadable to the recipient.
I have had to do restores and then shut down MWP as quickly as possible (before it filtered again) and avoid starting it or else lose my email.
There is a nasty bug in this version that seems to caused false positives for spam detection, possibly because it thinks there is "no body".

No, this is unrelated to the posters topic so have moved it to it's own thread... MW cannot cause this as it has no effect on email content, it can only fully delete the email, or leave it as is on the mail server for any email program to collect, issue in your email program could be due to an AV program, settings in the email program itself, or even a firewall setup....
Yes, that bit is related..... see that last post on this:

Most likely you need to set MW to download more of each email.
In MWPro click, Settings>>General>>Checking mail, drag the "Spam Throttle" slider to increase how many lines it downloads, try 500 lines for a starter....

Re: Problems with .188
I just noticed this thread. My Spam Throttle was set for 400 lines; I was going to change it to 1000 but it seems after 500 there is only a choice of 9999 so for now I have set it to that.
However, it appears that none of this is related to the scanning rules but rather the SBL support. While SpamHaus and SpamCop do not indicate a problem, MWP is saying they do, as discovered in the other thread.
