Mailwasher Pro Fix Broke Hotmail?

Downloaded the new version of Mailwasher Pro, thankful for the fast work of the Firetrust Team in rebuilding this.

Set up my Hotmail account, as I've always done but it can not connect to Imap server. Used the settings from Support / FAQ page, went block-by-block (I'm a dummy I always go block-by-block).

Won't work. I keep getting the "failed to retrieve Imap list, please check incoming settings", etc., etc. Also - it keeps asking to log in to my MS account over and over and over and over. What the heck am I overlooking?

Yes, that is odd, if you could please try this....

* open Mailwasher Pro and click, Settings>>Accounts, click your account and click, "Remove Account", click, "Yes, remove it", repeat for any other problem accounts.
* In Mailwasher Pro click Help>>User Files, open the cache folder and delete the folder named, "MSAL" close and restart Mailwasher Pro.
* In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
* Click the Incoming tab and click "Sign in with Microsoft", follow the prompts and you'll be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this.
* If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab, refresh folders on the IMAP tab (IF asked) and you are all set.

Good afternoon, unfortunately my hotmail account continues to fail, MW says that the credentials for my account have already been obtained and I am in this loop state, I obtain the hotmail permission and lose it randomly whenever it wants. All other accounts (Gmail and Outlook) work perfectly.

I have already deleted, installed, entered passwords etc. several times.
For a while Mailwasher Pro remembers everything, but suddenly there are error messages in every account, the IMAP folders are gone and no mails are retrieved.

Example:

Good evening, I confirm exactly the same thing that happens to you, perform all the steps as gingbat says, deleting the hotmail account, searching and deleting the 'MSAL' folder which was empty. It worked for a while but unfortunately it failed again. In fact the 'MSAL' folder has no longer been created. Well, we will have to wait for a solution, although with what we have been through lately, this small problem can wait in my case. All the best.

Yes, sorry about this, we're seeing some issues with some yahoo, hotmail and AOL accounts, should have a update out soon.....!

For me it is yahoo.
My yahoo.com account works. But all my yahoo.co.uk accounts fail.
I tried the pop.mail.yahoo.com server for my .co.uk but that fails too.
This only started happening after the recent issue.
Hopefully this all gets resolved soon :-)

Good evening, gingbat I continue to confirm that this version (7.12.190) works perfectly with all accounts including Hotmail. Under normal conditions I would have already had problems with the Hotmail account. Congratulations to the Firetrust team for their excellent work. Greetings to all.
