MWP7 failing to connect frequently

overt the past few weeks i have found that MWP7 fails to connect to any email server.
it is troubling that this sort of thing has been happening more and more frequently

is anybody else having this problem?

There are still some issues with Microsoft based accounts, but not generally... if they work one day but not the next, I'd look at any firewall or other external software possibly?
