Hello
Suddenly my trusted Mailwasher won't log into 3 different pop accounts, my main accounts : failed to log into pop3 servers. 2 for the same server, and one other. Yet other accounts on one of the servers seem to work : none of the laposte.net work, but one of the orange.fr works, the other doesn't. And a different one free.fr works. All in pop.
Has something new happened, or is this a Mailwasher problem, and if so, what can I do ?
I have been using Mailwasher for many years, and never had this problem.

Yes, if one works, it's unlikely to be the firewall, try deleting one of the problem accounts, then set it back up again manually as below, if it works, repeat for the others.
Please open Mailwasher Pro and click, Settings>>Accounts, click your account and click, "Remove Account", click, "Yes, remove it", close and restart Mailwasher Pro.
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
On the next screen enter your email accounts password and click Save again.
(NOTE: for Microsoft accounts, (outlook, hotmail, msn, live etc) you will be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this)
If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab then you are all set.
If still problems, can I please have some logs as per below directions:
- Use MWPro until you get the issue,
- Click Help>>Send Support Logs.
- Write a note referring to this post (copy/paste the link from the address bar in your web browser)
- Click "Send Logs"
Then, reply to this to let me know the logs have been sent in case they do not arrive for any reason...

You have to go into the settings page for your account in Mail Washer and enter either the POP Settings or IMAP Settings together with the SMTP Settings.
This includes details of the Microsoft Server, the Port Number and Encryption details. These can be found on the Microsoft web site.

I've tried many ways, deleting my account, editing settings, logging in on another device, and to no avail. I almost gave up. It turns out they needed permission to allow Mail Washer to access the account.
