Failed to log in to POP3 server

Thu Jun 27, 2024 6:05 am

Mailwasher worked on my old now defunct computer but doesn't work on my new one. It says "Failed to log in to POP3 server". I have checked my account details and they are all correct. My mail client uses them and it works ok.

See attached screenshots.

Thanks for your help.

Couple of things.. it may pay to remove your email address from display there or it may be harvested for spammers... :)

Re the problem, likely the incoming server is wrong, usually it'd be: mail.sheppeybridge.com NO @?

I note on the two I use (Gmail and Yahoo mail), the incoming servers for pop3 include "pop" in the address. For example,

"pop.gmail.com"
and
"pop.mail.yahoo.com"
