Trying to install MailWasher Free, but getting security alert?

Hi,

I am trying to install MailWasher free, but I keep getting this security alert. Is this normal?


Also, I use AOL mail via New Outlook. Does this mean I have to generate all new passwords again?

You are using 7.15.10? if so, yes, usually it does not have that notification.... it is fine to continue though..

Re AOL, yes, if you are not already using an app password, you will need to create one sorry....

re AOL..... we are in the process of getting MW setup to use the AOL security, (Called OAUTH) but this taking longer than anticipated, and until this is working, an AOL "App Password" is currently required.

If you would like to try this, here's how...

First please see the below link for directions on how to setup an app password:

Once you have created it, use that new password in MWPro under Settings>>Accounts, click the account>>Incoming tab, settings as per this screenshot:
