No sound in MW

I am not quite shure that this works. If not I look forward for suggestion of handling.

Yes, could not save that sound sorry... try adding as attachment via clicking "Full editor and preview" then click Attachments>>Add Files...?

Excellent, thanks for that and yes, that sound worked fine for me, note it will only display if new legitimate emails are in your list not if already seen emails are the only ones in the list, OR, if MW is the currently selected program.

MW needs to be either minimised or out of focus (another program selected) for the sound to work.....

One more time:
1) The sound plays when I click on it in the Explorer or here in the chat. So the speakers are on.
2) When I click on the arrow right of "Play sound for new mails" I get a ring that spins, but no sound.
3) When a new email arrives, I get a swinging envelope in the taskbar, but no sound.

Yes, really not sure why sorry as no problems when I test here.... all I can recommend is you try moving the .wav file to another location on your PC possibly? could be where it is now MW is unable to access....?

Sorry, gingbat, that didn't help. And not with any other wav-file on my computer either. Is it reinstallation that applies now?

Yes, very odd alright.... and in that case, can I please have some logs as per below directions:

- Use MWPro until you get the "get a swinging envelope in the taskbar,"
- Click Help>>Send Support Logs.
- Write a note referring to this post (copy/paste the link from the address bar in your web browser)
- Click "Send Logs"

Then, reply to this to let me know the logs have been sent in case they do not arrive for any reason...

I sent this by pressing the Send logs- button, but the email came to me and was empty.

OK, in that case, can you please open MWPro, click Help>>User Files, double click the autosupport.eml file, and forward this to "support at firetrust dot com" INCLUDING the 3 zip file attachments.

So really unsure why it is not being heard sorry...!

Do other sounds work fine when you place them in the same location on this PC? if so, try setting another sound in the same location, test it works, then delete that sound and rename the NotesCukoo.wav sound to the name of the one that works....?

If still no, open the sound in a wav editor (something like Audacity) save it again, then try using it again....?

No (as I already have told earlier). I have also made a reinstallation where I chose not to keep previously made settings (however, several of them were left). In the new installation, the location for Notifications > Play sound... was already filled out with C:\ProgramData\Firetrust\MailWasher\newMailNotify.wav. But there is no sound from it either when I click on the right arrow. I just get a spinning circle.

I want to make a total uninstall, ie. without all old settings. How to do it?
