Saturday, MWP logged into the Yahoo accounts just fine. Yesterday I kept getting a "failed to log into POP3 server" error. Today, same thing.
I'm getting the same error with Thunderbird client as well and have a pop up asking for password (but the final URL is tsdtocl com which a quick Google check lists as a possibly malicious website).
I'm able to log in via browser just fine.
I haven't installed anything new on the computer or made any other changes since Saturday to account for the weirdness. Usually if MWP fails to log in to Yahoo or Gmail I can restart the computer and then MWP logs in just fine. No such luck today. And having the same issue with Thunderbird is a puzzle.
Any suggestions to figure out what's going on? I'm hoping I can solve this without having to create new accounts in MWP and in Thunderbird.

Sorry I cannot help you. Hopefully someone else will come by with some advice. I am replying to you, however, to say I just tested my MWP with my yahoo email account and it worked just fine for me.

Possibly you are using an app password in both MW and TBird and Yahoo has revoked access to this for some reason? (it happens....)
If not, I'd first try deleting and re-setting up the account in Yahoo as it allows you to use OAUTH and your normal Yahoo logon (no app password required).
Please delete the problem email account first:
Settings>>Accounts, click the account>>Remove Account.
Click File>>Exit to close MWpro, then re-open it.
Then setup the account/s again:
In Mailwasher Pro click, Settings>>Accounts>>Add Email Account, type any name for this account you like, enter your email address and click Save.
Click the Incoming tab and click "Sign in with Yahoo", follow the prompts and you'll be asked for permission to allow MW access to the account, ensure you agree to this.
If it shows successful, click Save again on the outgoing tab, refresh folders on the IMAP tab (IF asked) and you are all set.
