Blacklisting/Friends
I am running version 7.15.5 right now. It and previous versions have been quirky with categorizing emails as Blacklisted or Friendslisted. Email that is blacklisted is not being deleted when marked for deletion or it is not automatically marking for deletion even though in Settings it is set for auto deletion. Friendlisting is quirky in that if marked as Friend, it is shown as Good. Setting an email to Blacklisted or Friendlisted may not stay as such if one closes Mailwasher and restarts it. Mailwasher has been quirky as heck for the last year or so and its several iterations. Running Win10 on 3 devices and all three exhibit the same pattern.

Yes, sorry about that, this is a known issue we are working on now, the developer is working on a update now, it should have been ready some time ago however we came across some other issues in testing so could not release... hopefully any day now though!
Note that if too much of an issue, you are welcome to revert back to the earlier version if you wish....
(I do recommend you backup first as per directions below however)
If so, uninstall any version you have there now, click YES when asked to save settings, then install previous version from here:

Here's how to backup your MWPro settings:
Open MWPro, click File>>Export,
Click Browse to choose where to save the backup file,
Type a name for it (anything you like)
Click Save,
Then Export.
To restore in future, click File>>Import, locate the file you saved and click Import.
Note that if too much of an issue, you are welcome to revert back to the earlier version if you wish....

I hate to ask but any more news it's been a few months now and it's a right pain and causing me a nightmare. Are our licenses getting free extensions to cover this period where the spam function has not worked ? or refunds/discounts ??

Hi, yes we're really sorry. We did a lot of rewriting/security fixes and it caused us some issues like this. We'll likely offer some special offers going forward to those affected.
