Does this apply to Mailwasher?
Protecting your information is a top priority for Microsoft. To protect your account, Microsoft will no longer support the use of third-party email and calendar apps where you sign in using only your Microsoft account username and password. Using an email or calendar app that supports Microsoft's modern authentication methods provides better protection. If you don't fix this, as of September 16, 2024, your third-party email apps will no longer be able to access your Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live.com email address.

Re: Third-party email apps
Yes, that is nothing to be concerned about (re MWPro anyway), as it supports Microsoft’s modern authentication methods (OAUTH) so will work fine.
Details here:

Although unlikely unless you had mail issues, you can check in MWPro to ensure it is using OAUTH under the Incoming tab>>Advanced, click the button under "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" for any Microsoft based accounts, (also as per below screenshot) if not, you are currently using an app password and need to enable OAUTH and use the normal password for that email account....

Re: Third-party email apps
I tried to choose OAUTH in the context menu but that option does not appear.
I still see only incoming messages of my @telenet.be account.
Messages of hotmail accounts are not shown in the main window
I need a more detailed procedure (step by step)

Yes, if no OAUTH option you must be using a old version...
