Washed/deleted mail not removed from Inbox

I am running MailWasher Pro 2010 and mail that I mark for deletion and subsequently Wash remains in my Inbox when I log in later. Also, deleted mail does not always appear in the Recycle Bin for final removal.
It may be that email is being saved on the server but I do not know how to change that setting in Outlook 2007. If anyone can help me with that setting, I would surely appreciate it!

Are you using POP to access your mail server?

If your mail isn't showing in the recycle bin try changing the number of day's mail shown to see if that gets it to show up. What is the mail counter showing when your messages aren't being shown?

I can't help with the Outlook question, it has been years since I touched it but if you look in the server settings for the account you are having problems with you will likely see a tick box for leave mail on server along with a couple other options for leaving/removing server messages.

Outlook 2007 - Tools, Account Settings, Change, More Settings, Advanced Tab, Tick Box is near the bottom under Delivery.
