inbox not emptying

When I wash mail, it appears in outlook express, but does not disappear from mailwasher unless I actively delete.. I thought this should happen automatically.

Double emails is usually due to the same server being used in two different accounts, check you MWP settings.

The MWP Inbox will be refreshed the next time you either do a manual fetch or on a scheduled auto-fetch.

Please note there is no connection between your mail client and MWP, they both access your mail server<s> where all your emails are kept, MWP just issues deletes to the server<s>.
