MWP hung on reading mail

Started PC, MWP goes to work.
MWP reports 19 emails, starts downloading first, then hangs.
MWP goes idle with a Log warning.
Kick MWP, sits downloading 1st email, again, hangs, goes idle.
Kick MWP, hangs, goes idle...

Logs despatched with 'Chris' as the title, here's the error:

I would try disabling the PIPELINING option under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> Advanced

Looks like a winner, as I just started the PC again and watched MWP sit there until it got bored with just two emails. Disabled the pipeline settings and lo, the two email just popped out!
