Advice please.
Just installed Pro 10 and now want to uninstall previous version 9. Any precautions or will a straight forward remove program be OK?
Many thanks.

Re: Removing version 9.
Think you mean v6 as there is no v7, v8 or v9
You can just remove it as normal as the two are totally separate, personally I would just leave the old one there in case you even want to go back to it at a later date, just stop it launching at windows start.

Re: Removing version 9.
Hi anniebrion
I am using MW6.5.3 and MWPro 2010 updated to version 1.0.10 installed from a Bonus download given by a friend. The new version has been registered and all settings imported from MW6. Both are still installed at present.
My problem is that most times I can not Start MW 2010. Maybe this is due to mails were already checked by MW6. At present majority of mails got into MW6 .
How do I stop MW6 launching at windows start.
Also how can I re-set checking times on MW6 so as both are not clashing.
Any help would be appreciated .

Right column of options, second from the top, Load MW on startup, untick it and MW shouldn't run at startup.
Right column, bottom option untick check mail on startup.
Left column bottom option untick the box for Perform default mail check every.

Re: Removing version 9.
Thanks stan-qaz.
I followed your suggestion and unticked the options as shown in your post. I turned off computer and restarted again and to make sure the options are being unticked. Then closed Version 6.5
I double clicked MW Pro 2010 and tried to open , the icon drops to bottom tray and sits there for a long time.
Pro 2010 still does not want to open. I exited from there and opened version 6.5, and manually checked mail - there were mail for me to process. At least I can still have my mails checked by Version 6.5
I will leave the settings in Version 6.5 as suggested and see what happens on Monday.
BTW this is posted from MW 6.5 version . Thanks for your help
