Gmail

Fri Aug 20, 2010 3:03 pm

Hi,

I have just downloaded and started reusing Mailwasher after some years of absence.
Of course Mailwasher has downloded thousands of histotric emails for me to filter. Is there an easy way to just accept all the old emails and to only piut the new ones up for classification?

Thanks

POP or IMAP access to Gmail?
I am not a Firetrust employee just a MW user.

Thanks,

Pop and have followed the directions and got the old mail sorted.

I have got part of my problems sorted with the Gmail settings and I think now the only unresolved issue is taht Mailwasher does not seem to be able to launch GMail. It checks the mail and brings it in and it Washes it OK but when I click the Mail Program icon nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Gmail isn't a program so MW can't launch it. You can tell MW to launch your web browser and have the browser open Gmail, try "firefox gmail.com" or something similar for whatever browser you use.

Just the website address is enough, so www.gmail.com

Oh nope, in the email program drop down you can select 'Use Web Address', then just enter the website you want MW to open
