Running issuer

O.K., I upgraded from the previous version of mailwasher to 10.
The old one, and versions before it worked like a charm.
This one does not and I do not know what to do.
I go to check mail and it downloads the first few e mails for processing and then just hangs there doing nothing.
I keep getting the unknown error...
It's like it is stuck or something...
I know it had shown for a brief time that there were 40 messages....
What could be the issue here....
The previous version worked fine...... :think

Go into your Accounts listing and make sure that you don't have the same account set up multiple times.

The short version is that the engine has got stuck on account, the UI has reset and tried to check it again, and the engine has said it can't as it's already checking....

What we need to do is look at why it's hanging, if you go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number >> also enter a link to this forum thread in the description field >> Send Logs ...

I think I replied to your support email last night as well. But for whatever reason the PIPELINING feature doesn't seem to be working well for you, if you go into the Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> Advanced >> and remove the check marks for the two bottom options that will disable PIPELINING when deleting and checking mail >> Save...


I noticed a similar issue at home when my ISP was doing some excessive traffic shaping, it seemed to be so aggressive it meant I couldn't reliably bring in email. Their solution was to move to another plan :scratch so instead I moved ISP. But at least switching off that option as above should get MailWasher working, just not as fast as it could be.
