Three Problems

Tue Aug 24, 2010 4:26 pm

This is my first time on this forum, so please bear with me...

I'm running MWP v 2010 1.0.15 with MSXP.

Since upgrading to this MWP2010 I've been having a few problems.

Freezing
I've noticed someone else experiencing this. SOmetimes the screen seems to just freeze and I end up shutting it down and re-starting.

Strange Error Message "Stuck" on screen
Sometimes I'm getting this message "Index 3 either negative or above rows count" with a yellow trianle icon with an exclamation mark in it. I'can't delete or even move this from the front of my screen. It appears on top of everything else.

Shifting to other monitor
I have two monitors - 1 a wide screen which fits the programme well, and another more square screen which the programme does not accommodate well. When I drag the programme to the second screen and select the restore button, part of the right-hand side is cut off. I can't seem to fix this.

None of these issues occured when I had the previous version of MWPro.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing that the firetrust folks would like to see your logs about the error messages, maybe the freezing too, submit a set using the help menu option, include a link to this topic and put chris in as the ticket number.

Search on dual screen and the like and you'll likely see a couple others with similar problems and what they have found to help them get going.

Once you get sorted out you'll like 2010, I'm running it on XP myself and it is doing a darned good job.
I am not a Firetrust employee just a MW user.
