The email in question did have a bad password but it's been fixed. Right now everything seems to be working at a pretty good speed but I'll give it all day and see what happens. I'll also install that version beforehand.

BTW, I don't know if this has anything to do with it but for a few minutes, I could not minimize anything I had open like the Firefox browser, Mailwasher, Eudora and so forth. I had to close out everything and then open them again.

Also, if it did not give you the info, I am using Avast Antivirus also.

Couldn't really say about the minimising, though it wouldn't hurt to be sure video drivers are up to date too.

Mike, Don't feel like the lone ranger, my posts on speed and Bayesian got to the Russian novel stage too. :-)

Still for folks that are interested in the details it is really good info.
