Windows 7 Professional - I've tried 4 times to download and install the update. It downloads just fine, or so it seems, but then I get an error message that says, "Wrong File Size". Anyone have any suggestions?

Try downloading from my dropbox account: [now removed]
Try downloading with another browser, check your security software is not corrupting the download.

We had a version 1.0.19 that was uploaded but still needed one small alteration. So we did the change and didn't alter the version number....all this was done well before the update was ever posted to the public etc.... however I might have posted the old 1.0.19 version to the beta testers, so if one of them downloaded the file before it was updated, ComCast in this case may have cached it and subsequent downloads meant that users might get the older 1.0.19.
That said, I'm not sure I've seen any other reports of this either and I didn't think I had given the testers the old version.....otherwise I would have had the version number rolled.
In future we'll be more strict on rolling the version numbers if there's any variation at all...

The AutoUpdater is strict on file sizes, within the update process it checks to be sure the file is the same size as stated, otherwise it does the above....though I'm struggling to understand this one....I think you were probably caught by some ISP caching.DonF wrote:Windows 7 Professional - I've tried 4 times to download and install the update. Re: Unable to install 1.0.19
So we have been testing an old version *.19

What was the small change? or was it one of your "Minor UI tweaks.." etc...

No it was the same one, so it would have been up for less than an hour.....I really don't think I posted the link either until it was fixed, which was AutoDelete for filters being broken.anniebrion wrote:So we have been testing an old version *.19![]()
