Irritating Problem

I just added a sender to my friends list and when I did all email marked for deletetion got unmarked. I did it all over again and the same thing happend again

Right I see, this is a behaviour introduced to add extra protection around keeping Friends email as not being deleted, with it's main purpose due to the option added for 'Delete All'.

I would have thought in this situation when you mark all emails for delete, then add a sender to your Friends List then you would expect the delete to also uncheck. In this case I'm going to err on the side of caution at least until we've heard a lot more feedback, as simple things like this could mean a lot of nuisance of losing good emails wanting to be kept.


As for TopThumb and co having issues, we still need to work out the reproduce-able steps to determine what might be causing this.

That's why I started this thread. No matter what you do, if you have some emails marked for deletion and then do anything else like mark some other ones for spam, blacklist, the emails marked for deletion are then unmarked.

BTW, this happens with 1.0.18 and 1.0.19

You are right, I tried add and remove from blacklist with the same result, but when I marked one for spam nothing happend with the marked messages.

It also happens if I have lets say 20 spam mails marked for deletion and I add one of them to my friends or blacklist then all other spam mails changes to unmarked.

Right, adding to Friends List, like above will remove delete. I can repeat the Blacklist issue now though so we'll get that fixed up.
