Well, it irritates me anyway, but it might be a "feature" rather than a bug...
When I've checked my mail and I have a number of messages on display, if I click on the "Classification" flag to change a mail from spam->good or vice-versa, the focus & preview pane switch to the next message in the category.
I think the focus & preview should stay with the message I clicked on even though it has moved within the grid, that would allow me to verify that I'd got the right message and made the correct decision.
What d'you think, is it a bug in the UI or between my ears?

Re: Irritating UI behaviour ...
Thanks for the feedback. This selection change is actually by design. It use to be that the focus would move with the selection as you expected, but people found it annoying to have to scroll back to the previous section to mark the next email. For people who want to quickly go through marking their messages, the constant back and forth was quite frustrating. However, I can see how it would seem counter-intuitive if you like to review the email you've just marked.
I assume you're grouping by one of your columns since the email is moving? Have you considered sorting instead of grouping by that column? That would avoid the email moving at all and avoid the forced selection.
