"Check for updates" not detecting 1.0.19

"Check for updates" unable to connect with server in any of several attempts. Downloaded 1.0.19 from the link on the forum post. Post announcing 1.0.19 said updates problem was fixed. Obviously, it has not been fixed. Post requested feedback if problem persists. The problem definitely persists.

That sounds more like a Firewall issue blocking the updater.exe than the others who are being told they are up to date.


I'll check out the logs sent when I get a chance, thanks for those who sent them in.

Add me to the list of those for whom the updater didn't work. On my XP Pro SP3 desktop, I got notification of the 1.0.19 as soon as I started MWP yesterday. When I opened the program on my Win 7 64 bit laptop, there was no notice . Checking for updates incorrectly showed none available. Identical security software on both computers. I will update manually and send logs to Chris.
